After School Matters invests in Chicago teens because they are the future of our city. For more than 30 years, After School Matters has been investing in Chicago communities by offering paid after-school and summer programs in the arts, communications and leadership, sports, and STEM to Chicago teens. Each year, we provide 25,000 opportunities for Chicago teens to learn new skills, find mentors, earn money, and prepare for the future.
