²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ introduced its member institutions to the blended modality of accreditation visits. Since most schools are already considering different modalities, the blended approach has been developed. The ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ Board of Trustees approved the guidelines for the blended modality of accreditation visits for programs in basic education and higher education during its meeting on May 27, 2022.
Dr. Carmela Oracion delivered the orientation for elementary schools, Chair of the Commission on Secondary Education, on July 4, 2022, and the orientation for higher education institutions was given by Dr. Cecile Gutierrez, Chair of the Commission on Graduate Education, on July 5, 2022. The rationale for the blended modality, the distinction between virtual program accreditation, and the numerous activities and preparations for the virtual and onsite teams were topics covered during the orientation.
The orientation was attended by 614 school officials and administrators from basic education and 507 for higher education programs.
